COVID Travel Updates- Where can you travel and planning tips

Our team has decided to postpone all of our personal international travel in 2020, but we do have clients who are interested in traveling as safely as possible. Here are some things you need to know:
1. Check the country’s Tourism page for the most recent and accurate travel guidelines and information. Example- https://www.bahamas.com/tourism-reopening
2. Visit the IATA travel dashboard and interactive map
This map and dashboard contains a country-by-country listing of COVID-19-related public health requirements that passengers and airline crew need to follow at the airport and onboard the aircraft.
3. Stay up to date on Passport Services
4. Get in the habit of budgeting for travel insurance. It was something that travel advisors highly recommended before, but something that could be required moving forward. If you get quarantined when you arrive to your destination, travel insurance may help you pay for costs you didn’t budget for, like 14 additional nights! 5. Make sure you are prepared for arrival and departure. Read all the requirements and make sure you are O.K. with them. Do you have an issue with wearing a mask in shared spaces, taking a test, not fully enjoying amenities at the resort, or following the rules? These are all things to consider. For example, look at the requirements St. Maarten currently has in place, are you ready?
